CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 finishes in Brentford - 29th June 2009
Today, charity Cardiac Risk in the Young and health and well-being company Philips unveil the first results from their Test My Heart Tour 09.  The tour visited 13 locations in England and tested over 2,000 young people’s hearts to detect any abnormalities that could lead to Sudden Death Syndrome.

The latest destination on the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 was Sidcup in Kent, on June 6 - 7.  This event was held in memory of
local resident
Adam Donnelly who died suddenly from a heart defect, aged just 17.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visits Nottingham
Nottingham University hosted the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 mobile screening trailer on June 2 - 3.  The screenings were held in memory of Nottingham University student Neil Desai,
who died suddenly from a heart defect, aged 22.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 in Preston - 30th & 31st May 2009
Around 230 young people were screened as the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visited Preston.  The event was also attended by Ben Wallace MP; Preston North End goalkeeper Andrew Lonergan; and former Coronation Street star Scott Wright; who all voiced their support for the screening tour.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visits Atherton, Manchester
Andy Burnham MP lent his support to the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 as it visited Atherton on May 23 - 24.  This leg of the tour was held in memory of local resident Daniel Young, who died suddenly aged just 16.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 visits Ormskirk, Lancashire
Everton footballer Leon Osman lent his support to the CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 as it visited Ormskirk on May 12 - 13.  This leg of the tour was held in memory of Everton youth team player John Marshall, who died suddenly aged 16.

CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 launched in Durham
The CRY Philips Test My Heart Tour 09 is the first free tour of its kind in England and has been made possible by charity CRY, health and well-being company Philips, through the fundraising efforts of families whose lives have been affected by Sudden Death Syndrome (SDS) or Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD), and the Gwyneth Forrester Trust.
