CRY Screening Service for Wales

Every week 12 'apparently' fit and healthy young people die in the UK from undiagnosed heart conditions.

This CRY screening clinic is based at the University of Glamorgan

The first screening date was November 1st and appointments for this initial screening were free of charge as the event was funded by donations made in memory of Gareth McDonald and Mark Stephen Young

(usual cost for an appointment is £35 per person)

David Walliams launches Heart Screening Partnership with Philips and CRY

Philips and CRY have launched The Heart Screening Awareness Partnership, designed to help families understand the simple steps involved. David Walliams has supported this launch by appearing in a short film designed to show young people that the screening process is not a scary one.
