All three of us have wanted to trek up Mount Kilimanjaro for quite a while. So when I mentioned to Sarah that I was ready to take on a challenge and raise some money at the same time, we agreed that life is for living and there’s no ltime like the present. Teresa decided to join us when I said that I was doing it for our son, Charlie, who died suddenly in October 2013 of an undetected heart condition called Cardiomyopathy.
If we can raise awareness of this condition and enough money to help prevent just one young person’s death we feel we will have achieved something.
