FIVE men are running seven marathons in as many days for a rugby player who nearly died from a cardiac arrest.
They are raising money for charity by running from London to Paris in the name of Morgan MacRae, 22, from Peppard.
Morgan, who used to play for the Henley Hawks and is now with the Rams in Sonning, is accompanying them in a support vehicle and is running some of the way too.
Tom Bishop, Tom Guthrie, Max Tipping, Tom Croisdale and Morgan’s brother Iwan, all 25, are running from Marble Arch in London to the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. They began on Saturday and ran to the south coast where they caught a ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe in northern France from where they are running to the capital and aim to finish today (Friday).
