Nicola Burndred and her family have raised £75,000 since 2015, when her son, Jordan, died aged just 17. The money raised has gone on to fund screening for 500 young people in the Stoke-on-Trent area. Nicola said: “It’s surreal that we have raised that much but for us it is about raising awareness. It will be nice when we reach the £100,000 mark. We’ve managed to book in screenings until 2020.”
