A McColl’s store in Melksham have raised over £600 for CRY by taking on a walking challenge. Store manager, Tracey Griffin came up with the idea to walk from the shop on Pembroke Road to Strattons Walk, 624 times – the estimated number of how many young people die a year from sudden cardiac death.
Staff and customers alike took on the challenge over a five day period, alongside Mayor Adrienne Westbrook and Deputy Mayor Jon Hubbard, bringing the community together as well as raising awareness of the charity.
