Running show – registration for the TCS London Marathon
You’ll need to collect your Event Pack from the TCS London Marathon Running Show at ExCeL London before the registration deadline of 17:30 on Saturday 26 April. The email containing the Participant Event Guide also includes the unique QR code that you need to collect your Event Pack. You’ll also find all your important arrival information for Marathon Day in that email, including your start wave and time, so please read it carefully and keep it safe.
Your Event Pack will include: your bib, with timing chip attached, and safety pins to fix it to your top, an official kitbag with a sticker matching your bib number and allocated baggage lorry. You must bring photographic identification, such as a passport or driving licence, with you when you collect your Event Pack.
Unable to collect in person? If you’re not able to collect your Event Pack in person, you can nominate someone to collect it for you. They’ll need to bring your QR code and a letter, written and signed by you, authorising them – by name – to collect your pack, along with a clear photocopy of your ID showing your name and your signature, as well as their own suitable photo ID. Please note: an individual can only collect one other person’s Event Pack in addition to their own.

If you have a family history of Young Sudden Cardiac Death and/or Cardiac Condition, we would require you to sign a statement to say you have discussed your wish to run with your cardiologist, and you have both come to an agreement that it is ok for you to run the London Marathon. If you haven’t yet been screened, we can provide you with information regarding this.
As the TCS London Marathon is a core funding event for CRY, all money raised from a CRY place will go towards our core funding initiatives. It is, therefore, not possible to allocate sponsorship raised using CRY places, to specific projects that a ringfenced memorial fund has set a target for.
We welcome ballot place runners and offer the same support, fundraising materials and running vest or Techno T-shirt as our charity place runners receive. If you have any family or friends who have a ballot place and wish to run for CRY, please email events@c-r-y.org.uk or call 01737 363222. Money raised by a ballot place runner can be allocated to specific projects that a ringfenced memorial fund has set a target for.

If you were successful in securing a Ballot place and would like to fundraise for CRY, please email events@c-r-y.org.uk
Once you have applied for a charity place, our events team will look over your application form and get back to you within a few weeks to let you know if you have been successful. If you have any questions regarding your application please email events@c-r-y.org.uk
