Altrincham Grammar School for Girls Summer Fair in memory of Chloe Waddell
On Saturday 6th July, a summer fair was held in the beautiful sunshine on the front lawn of the school. The Summer Fair raised over £1,650, with hundreds of members of the school and local community coming together to remember and celebrate Chloe’s life and raise as much as possible for CRY in her memory.
“Chloe Waddell, a former student at Altrincham Grammar School for Girls, who sadly passed away in February this year, has been missed greatly by friends and family, and the AGGS School Council decided that they wanted to hold a summer fair to raise money for CRY in her memory.
Stalls were run by students, teachers and local businesses who gave up their time on a Saturday to help raise money and awareness of CRY and keep Chloe’s memory alive.
The girls worked hard at various different stalls: they organised many games including hook-a-duck, a coconut shy, a chocolate tombola, a lucky dip and a hula-hooping competition. These were very popular, and it was great to see so many laughing faces at the fair, having fun and supporting CRY.
Local businesses also came along to help support charity. There were plenty of cakes, crafts and ice creams to enjoy in the sun
