The Cottam family has set a new record, raising more than £25,000 last year with their annual charity Christmas lights. The family’s home has become a famous Christmas attraction throughout Lancashire with donations growing from £2,000 in 2011 to £14,000 in 2019. Last year, the couple was awed by the generosity of their community as so many came to see the lights in these challenging times and donations smashed the previous year’s total. Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) was among the charities the family chose to support in 2020, donating to the Jordan Grant Fund.
