Christopher Cowe
Christopher was 15 and only a couple of months away from his 16th Birthday. He was loved and adored by his family and many friends and was growing into a happy and confident young man with his whole future ahead of him when he was suddenly and cruelly taken from us, devastating family, friends and the wider community. All who knew him have felt his loss deeply and this has been demonstrated in the many cards, memorial books and the outpouring of emotion and support that have followed Christopher’s tragic passing.
Christopher loved football, in particular Heart of Midlothian FC where he was a season ticket holder, playing on his PS4 or X Box with friends, travelling and was developing a love of music and keen interest in the latest fashions and health and fitness. He was doing so well at school where he was hard working, bright and conscientious. He would have excelled in his exams and was particularly interested in Maths, Media and Modern Studies and was showing a good aptitude for Business.
No one should lose their precious son or daughter at such a young age. As a family we want to help others by giving back to our community, one which Christopher benefitted so much from, and in doing so help to fund further research and run screening events in loving memory of our beautiful boy.
This memorial fund has been set up by the family to help CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young) raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death, support those affected, support CRY’s screening programme and fund research and pathology.
