We’re going to miss Dacre down at the rowing club. He was such a humble and dedicated member with immense power. It’s been strange not seeing him at the club. My prayers are with Capstick the family.

Dacre typically sat just behind me in the Novices boat. He was quick to help / encourage my rowing technique, always constructively, and always critical of his own. A lovely guy

I only rowed with Dacre for a year or so but he was an absolute pleasure to be around on and off the water. A humble and positive fella who was seemingly excellent at anything he put his mind to.
