Having just completed a virtual challenge to run the length of the UK, 874 miles from Land’s End to John O’Groats, I decided to run a further 360 miles the length of Ireland from Mizen to Malin, to help with fundraising for CRY in support of Scott’s family. I was overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness shown by my family, friends and colleagues at Beam Suntory in Springburn and beyond. I am delighted to report that a total of £1,200 was raised and donated to Scott’s memorial fund; a fantastic contribution towards the CRY cardiac programme and the family’s target to screen 300 young people aged 14-35 over 3 separate events, with focus on Scottish Manufacturing sites.
Thank you all for your support, you inspired me to keep pounding the streets through the many miles.
