Danielle Roberts took to the skies on Sunday 7th October 2012 to take part in a skydive in memory of Lewis Dean. She raised a wonderful £503.00 from her jump.
“On a beautiful crisp October day with clear skies & sunshine, I made a tandem skydive from 14,000ft at the Black Knights Parachute Centre in Cockerham near Lancaster. This was in memory of Lewis Dean, who died unexpectedly in 2006 whilst playing on a park with friends.
The skydive was amazing, it was well worth the wait (after being rescheduled so many times due to unpredictable UK weather!) Seeing the curvature of the earth was unreal. It was all over so quickly, before I knew it I could see my family waving at me in the paddock. I would love to do it all over again… And the best part is, I have it all caught on camera!
I have raised over £500 for CRY. I will be back next year with another daredevil stunt & raising more money for CRY.”
