A dad who is rowing across the Atlantic in memory of his daughter, Amy, has raised £100,000.
Andrew Osborne from Rutland is into his second week of a three-month challenge to cross the ocean and raise money to test young people for heart conditions.
After eight days he had covered nearly 400 miles despite facing enormous waves and seasickness.
Money raised through his efforts will be ring-fenced by the charity to pay for children and young people in Rutland and Leicestershire state schools to be tested for undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
Amy Osborne died in her sleep five years ago from an undiagnosed heart condition at the age of 25.
