Andrew Osborne from Rutland has completed 1,000 miles in his three-month solo row to raise money for screening young people for undiagnosed heart conditions.
Amy, Andrew’s daughter, died suddenly when she was 25.
Having set off from the Canary Islands on Sunday, January 8, the 57-year-old has been at sea for a month.
Andrew has raised nearly £109,000 towards Cardiac Risk in the Young (Cry), a charity which will use the money to screen hundreds of state school pupils in Rutland and Leicestershire for heart abnormalities.
