My beautiful daughter, Corina, passed away in her sleep at age 22 on 18th October 2022. She just went to bed and never woke up. Her beautiful heart went to CRY to be looked at, and showed she had a sudden cardiac death. This was a shock to us as a family, as none of us knew Corina had a poorly heart. Since being on CRY’s page, to read so many young people having not known breaks my heart. Corina’s death broke me; she had her whole life to live. I would advise anyone to be screened. I wish we knew, but sadly, we never knew Corina had a problem. I’ve since done a skydive for this amazing charity, which is now close to my heart. I send my love to all the families that have lost their loved ones at such young ages.
