Thank you for signing up to the CRY Heart of London Bridges Walk 2024 on Sunday 23rd June. We are so grateful to all our supporters who take part in the walk, whether it’s for the first time or as a regular.
18 years, 16,535 registrations, £940,600 total raised and 84,849 miles walked in memory of loved ones who have died, and in support of those living with a heart condition.
This flagship event means so much to our supporters and CRY and we are incredibly grateful to everyone taking part.
Everything you need for the day can be found on this page, including how to find us, maps and route information, and downloads. Click on the icons below to find out more!
The event will be starting and finishing in Southwark Park, Gomm Road, London, SE16 2TX, near the Band Stand.
Southwark Park is close to three underground stations, Bermondsey, Canada Water and Surrey Quays.
The park is accessible from all directions with 8 gated entrances.
Water will be provided at the start and at the drinks station located at Millennium Bridge. Please note: if you are following the shorter accessible route, you will only be able to pick up water at the start in Southwark Park.
The Walk finishes back at Southwark Park in the afternoon and all walkers will be congratulated with a medal as a token of our thanks.
The CRY homepage will, as always, transform into a message wall to raise awareness and show the true incidence of young sudden cardiac death.
Photos and messages can be uploaded leading up to the event, and on the day until 4pm. When you arrive a Southwark Park, look out for the big screen near the bandstand. Not only will it show important information about the day, it will also show all the messages and photos sent in by supporters.

As every year, we will have a message wall near the support tent for you to pin your back sign or message cards to on the day. These cards are all taken back to the CRY head office in Leatherhead after the event and displayed on the walls in our foyer.
Join us after the walk back in Southwark Park for the CRY Family Picnic where there will be food & drinks stalls, entertainment and tables to sit at with friends and family.
Throughout the afternoon at the bandstand the Unity Music Arts Team will join us again to play as you relax and connect with family and friends.
We will be joined by artist Grusha Tiwari again for a card making workshop, a great option for children and adults alike using stamps of the artist’s own designs, inks and crayons.
Our food vendors this year include old favourites and some new options: Smokin’ Bean Coffee, Brat-Bros, Masters Home Touch, Party On Slushy On and Chocolate Balloons.
Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.
