CRY supporter Mike Fleet has curated “The Big Smile Artbook for CRY” to help raise vital funds for the charity. Big Eric Campbell, Simon Honey and Caroline Wilson are the artists that have contributed their artwork that they created during the Covid lockdown as an occupational therapy project to enable this book to be created. The result is a bright and colourful “gallery” which he hopes those that read it will enjoy!
Mike Fleet is a long standing and loyal supporter of CRY who has been raising funds and awareness for CRY since 2005, in memory of Cecilia Barriga who tragically died aged just 15 from a previously undiagnosed heart condition. Mike coached Cecilia at the well-known athletics club, Croydon Harriers and her sudden death sent shockwaves across her entire school and sporting community, as well as devastating family and friends. In response, Mike set about fundraising as part of Cecilia’s legacy, and to date, has raised more than £50,000 to help the charity reach its ambitious objectives, a truly fantastic amount.
Mike has recommended a £5 donation be made for anybody who would like to acquire a copy of the book. For those that are interested please email [email protected] or call 020 8647 1341 to secure your copy.
