On 1st Sept I took part in The Big Half 2024 (half marathon), which started by London’s iconic Tower Bridge and finished at Cutty Sark in Greenwich.
I ran in memory of my uncle Simon, who we sadly lost suddenly at the terribly young age of 36. A much loved brother, son, uncle, cousin and good friend to many.
Cardiac Risk in the Young is a charity very close to our hearts. Given that it was set up to help to raise awareness of young sudden cardiac death, I wanted to raise as much money as possible for them.
I am over the moon to be able to share that I raised a total of £745!
