The ‘Silent at Heart’ art project won three awards for the South East London Cardiac Network at the Cardiac Nursing Awards 2008 on Friday 25th April.
The project – partly funded by a grant from the Wellcome Trust and partly funded by CRY – received the following accolades:
Innovation in Arrhythmia Care – 1st place
Excellence in Primary or Secondary Prevention – 2nd place
Innovation through Service Development – 3rd place (joint)
CRY’s Consultant Cardiologist Dr Sanjay Sharma was heavily involved with the project, and was present to collect the prestigious awards at this high profile event.
