Composer and musician Kim Halliday is no stranger to the aesthetics of contemporary rock music, having a diverse background in punk, new wave, and ska. Known more for music for film, Kim recently completed an album called Halflight, due for release 11 November 2014 on Ravello Records. The album was produced by Martin Lister, keyboard player with German electro-pop band Alphaville. Martin also arranged and played on the album. Just after finishing this set of recordings, Martin suffered a sudden and fatal heart attack.
Kim and Martin’s fiancé Anja decided that it would be a nice thing to allow Martin’s fans to download a free track from the album entitled Creepers, but also to be able to donate in Martin’s memory, and they decided that Cardiac Risk in the Young would be the beneficiary, particularly because of work around sudden bereavement. You can download Creepers at bit.ly/creepersfreedl and also make a donation if you wish.
