The sister of a girl who died from a heart attack has completed her collection for a charity challenge, exactly a year after the tragedy.
Kyla Hanson from Market Weighton has raised £1,000 for completing 500 miles on a rowing machine and 500 miles on an exercise bike over a month. Kyla, 23, raised the money for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) after her sister Jodie died from an undetected condition.
Between November and December last year, Kyla made daily visits to Francis Scaife Sports Centre in Pocklington and the gym at Linden House secure units in Market Weighton where she works as a health care assistant, to tally up her mileage.
