It’s coming up to nearly three years since I had a cardiac arrest. The thought that I might be at risk had never crossed my mind before that, and I had been very fit and active playing rugby, as well as swimming and hockey. So, on the ill fated day of 23rd April 2012, we were all pretty surprised to find that my heart had stopped.
