A race night – Held at The Plough – February 2016 – £1,448 was raised.
A Charity Fun Day and Football Tournament – May 2016 – £2,729.29 was raised
Couldn’t of thought of a better fundraising event for Mike. He loved his football and bringing 12 teams together in a 7-a-side tournament. We had stalls, bouncy castle and a BBQ. The only thing I didn’t managed to plan was the weather. Unfortunately it was probably the wettest day we had in May but we didn’t let that spoil anything the turnout was simply amazing. Following the tournament we managed to conclude with a raffle an auction.
A Charity Walk – Sept 2016 £1,200 was raised.
This was held on Sunday 11th September. This was a significant date as this marks a year since we lost Mike. I chose to hold the walk on this date so we could be among friends and family and also do something that helps me feel close to Mike by fundraising in his memory. It was such a lovely day we walked for 8 miles on the Whitegate Way and the sun was beaming down on us all day.
Kindertons
Mike’s employer held a football tournament for all their staff and even the women got involved. They managed to raise £1,265.58 in July.

Completed the Born Survivor has also managed to raise £390.00 so far which is incredible.
With this total plus other donations online we have managed to get a grand total of over the £8,500!
