CONGRATULATIONS are in order following Cheshire's longest East egg hunt.
Primary schools in Cheshire designed giant Easter Eggs for the event which were displayed along with route for visitors to admire.
Helen Burder, Mayor of Northwich, had the difficult job of judging the egg competition but awarded the winning design to St Wilfrid's Catholic Primary School in Hartford.
The East egg hunt was organised by a collective of businesses called Destination 49.
Many of the families who took part made donations to charity and £357 has now been handed over to CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young.
