Born and brought up in SW London, I graduated from University College London with my Medical Degree (MB BS) and a BSc in Neuroscience (with 1st class Honours) in 2002.
After completing my junior and general medical training in London and Nottingham, I
underwent 3 years of Specialty training as a Cardiology Registrar on the SW Thames rotation.
I took up my current Clinical Research Fellow post with CRY in October 2010, where I am based at St. George’s Hospital and St. George’s University of London.
My research interests include inherited cardiac diseases and arrhythmias, with current work focusing on repolarisation changes in athletes of African / Afro-Caribbean origin, and ethnic differences in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
In my spare time, I enjoy sports such as running and tennis, and have a passion for photography.
