Deborah Slator, who set up the successful Defibrillators for All group in Whittlesey, wants the money to screen up to 200 young people locally to detect potentially life-threatening, undiagnosed heart conditions. Whittlesey now has over 50 defibrillator pads in the community, and they now want to focus on the local young people and make the area as ‘heart safe as possible’.
