I qualified in 2007 and gained membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2010. I have been training in cardiology at various sites across the country including Dorset, Hampshire and the West Midlands. Prior to joining the unit here at St Georges I was undertaking a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology and arrhythmia at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. My areas of research interest involve sudden cardiac death and conditions such as Brugada Syndrome, inherited Long QT and Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia. I am also interested in the management of atrial fibrillation in elite athletes.
Outside of research my interests include travelling, various sports and I am an avid Tottenham Hotspurs FC fan and can often be found singing in the South stand at White Hart Lane.
