Porthill Park have already got off to a flyer as they prepare to host the annual Nathan Butler Memorial Day – with a bit of help from Arsenal and England keeper Aaron Ramsdale.
Friends, family and old teammates of Nathan have raised thousands of pounds for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) in his honour since he died suddenly at the age of 16 in 2006 from a rare condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
A signed England shirt will go under the hammer as well as other items including a signed photograph of the England Test team and two tickets to the PGA Championship at Wentworth next month.
