Gordon and Hazel Murch, representing the charity, Cardiac Risk in the Young, were recently delighted to accept a cheque for £4,200 from Colin Liddell, Chairman of the Aberfeldy Highland Ball committee.
The sum was raised through generous individual donations and a prize draw, supported by a number of local artists and companies, at the ball held in Blair Castle last December.

It also funds vital medical research and offers support to affected families.
Gordon and Hazel, who lost their twenty one year old son Andrew to SADS in 2007, have confirmed that the proceeds from the ball, held at Blair Castle will fund a CRY cardiac screening event, open to anyone aged between 14-35 years, to be held at Breadalbane Community Campus, Aberfeldy on 10 September.
