An-Cottan childcare centre recently took part in their annual sponsored toddle. This year they had over 80 children, families and staff all toddling round the grounds, with plenty sunshine and not a spot of rain in sight! The fantastic amount of £2383.00 was raised with half of it, £1191.50, going to the Andrew Macleod Memorial Fund with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), which offers free heart screening to young people on the Island.
In the photo is Murdo Macleod, Andrew’s dad, accepting the cheque on behalf of CRY, along with some of the children who toddled. Screening appointments for this year and which are held at the Nicolson Institute will open on the 31st July https://testmyheart.org.uk/.
Very well done to everyone who took part and to those that supported the children by sponsoring.
