Angelfest5, the popular beer and music festival held at Longmead, the home of Tonbridge Angels FC, over the Bank Holiday weekend saw a record number of attendees with over 30 real ales on offer, a top line up of local bands and for the first time entertainment for children.
Festival organiser and Angels Events Manager, Darren Apps said: “Angelfest5 was a fantastic weekend, surpassing all previous festivals with the amount of people that came to listen to local bands and artists performing and sample many beers and ciders.
The festival was also raising money for CRY – Cardiac Risk in the Young – and a total of £1,000 was collected. I would like to thank all the volunteers who helped to make it happen from pulling pints to nighttime security and selling tickets for charity. It was the first time the event had been held over a Bank Holiday weekend and we shall certainly be repeating the formula as it proved very successful.”
