Congratulations and thank you to the 15 CRY runners who took part in the BUPA London 10,000 on Bank Holiday Monday, May 30th 2011. The weather held out for us, creating a sunny day with a superb atmosphere.
The first CRY runner to cross the finish line was Stephen John Busby, celebrating his 50th Birthday wearing one of our heart costumes. He finished in an incredible 52 minutes and 47 seconds – whilst Charlotte Payne shortly followed in 1 hour 3 minutes!
CRY Fundraising Assistant, Rebecca Upson and CRY Volunteer, Rowena Upson met the runners and their supporters at the end and handed out CRY goody bags.
