Billingham Campus are celebrating winning the hotly-contested John Owens Trophy.
A total of 70 talented Teesside teenagers from schools in Thornaby, Stockton and Billingham took part in a seven-a-side tournament named in memory of a former Middlesbrough FC in the Community student.
John was a football-loving teenager who attended the Football First programme and was held to be a shining example to all.
He was a victim of sudden adult death syndrome, and the tournament is held in his honour every year.
Billingham won the trophy after beating the African Sports Embassy on penalties.
The other schools taking part were Ian Ramsey, St Michael's, Norton, Blakeston and Thornaby Community.
The tournament, organised by Middlesbrough FC in the Community, raised £105 and a further £100 donation was received from John's grandparents.
All the players received a medal presented by John's grandfather and the mayor of Stockton, John Fletcher.
Proceeds go to the CRY and SAD charities supporting families who have lost a loved one due to sudden adult death syndrome.
Event organiser Claire McGarvey said: "We would like to thank Citysnax for donating lunch for the event, Apollinaire Ouedraogo from the African Sports Embassy and Connexions for funding medals and George Cooke from MFCitC for donating the pitches and staff.
"We also thank partnership development manager Darren Croft for his help and support in liaising with the schools."
