Big well done and thank you to Denise Wardle from Lee-on-the-Solent for completing the Great South Run 5k in Portsmouth, on Saturday 15 October. £350 raised for CRY. Denise was running in memory of her son Alex who died from SADS in 2016.
On 16th October 2022, the Bath Half finally returned following a 2-year break, celebrating the 40th anniversary of the event. A memorial festival was held on Sunday 28th August at Ambleside Sports Club in Nuneaton in memory of Luke Henney and Lee Welland. Team Tommy’s challenge for 2022 was to run the 10k run in Leeds, Tom’s home city. Team Tommy comprised of a small group of family and friends this year – James, Maria, Amelia and myself. As usual we had a great response from family and friends continuing to raise the much needed funds to support CRY.
