6 days, 2 press briefings, over 10,000 visitors, over 200 blog posts, more than 300 ECGs performed, around 1 million miles clocked up on the CRY exercise bike (Wattbike), 20 team members working round the clock, 6 CRY Research Fellows, 1 Professor….all adds up to one amazing week for CRY at the Royal Society’s Summer Exhibition 2012.

The three day event featured a sponsored inter-club doubles tournament with Owen Davidson, Frew McMillan, Mark Cox, John Inverdale, Ken Rosewall, Mike Walker, Geoff Masters, and Fred Stolle, a kids tennis clinic, and an Auction night with Bob Champion. Over £15,000 was raised.
To say first of all, a HUGE thank you for your donations and support for CRY. The Head of the Charity, Alison Cox, was absolutely delighted with everything, and that CRY had enjoyed their best ever day at the London Marathon. It won Rugby Book of the Year at The British Sports Book Awards in 2014 and was also shortlisted for The Times Sports Book of the Year award.
