Campaign – 30th January 2014 £23,000 has been raised so far by the Jack Thomas Memorial Fund. Family of Jack have also been working to get defibrillator installed in schools, in order to help save young lives. Read more
HoldtheFrontPage – 30th January 2014 Jack’s Appeal is a campaign to get defibrillators installed in every secondary school in Gwent. Jack died from sudden cardiac death in 2012, and since then his family have been fundraising for CRY heart screenings, and workings with Welsh Hearts to install defibrillators locally. Read more
East Anglian Daily Times – 29th January 2014 Teachers from Stowupland High School will play in the match to raise awareness and funds for CRY in order to provide heart screenings for local young people. Read more
South Wales Argus – 28th January 2014 The parents of Jack Thomas have been campaigning to raise awareness of underlying heart conditions following Jack’s death in 2012. The campaign to get defibrillators in every secondary school in Gwent is being supported by schools in the area. Read more
Isle of Wight County Press – 24th January 2014 The Isle of Wight will have its CRY free heart screenings next week. 200 pupils will be screened at Sandown Bay Academy on Tuesday and Wednesday.
