A DEDICATED veterinary team will be swapping the clinic for the kitchen to put on a special bake sale for charity.
Team members at Brentknoll Veterinary Centre in Worcester are planning a bake sale and raffle to raise cash for the charity Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY).
It comes after 14-year-old Matthew Notley, nephew of practice manager Helen Peake, died suddenly at the end of last year from a cardiac arrest.
Now, the practice is working with Chase School in Malvern, where Matthew studied, in an attempt to raise £17,000 to screen students in Year 11 for potential heart problems.
