Tom Henson passed away at 23 years old after suffering a cardiac arrest due an undiagnosed heart condition while he was playing football. His family stated, “since Tom tragically passed away, we’ve been raising money to provide defibrillators to areas associated with Tom, as well as for CRY (Cardiac Risk in the Young), who provide screening events as well as grief support to people faced with the tragedy of losing a young person to a heart condition.” They are currently organising a second Tom Henson Charity Football Match, to take place on June 15th at Bolsover Town Sports and Social Club. Aside from the football match, there will also be a bouncy castle, bake sale, raffle, face painting and more. The event will start at 1pm with the football match beginning at 2pm. Read More
