Our wonderful local Horden Rugby team held a memorial match in memory of our beautiful Kasia.
Although very emotional, we felt so proud that they did this and what a great bunch they are – and also the Seaton Carew team for taking part.
Both teams played great, I have never been so interested in rugby. The event took part in our local park.
We were asked to present the beautiful trophy, which had a photo of our Kasia on it, to her boyfriend Scott who plays for the team, and was captain for the day. Also all the Rugby boys kindly donated the trophy.
We were supported by our very close friends who really enjoyed the event, and Kasia’s Nana who cheered the boys on, and also brother Chris.
Thank you also for the two minute silence – they showed so much respect.
Kasia’s friends Sarah, Helen, Louise, Jill and Katie also braved the cold and did us proud as they had their CRY T-shirts on and stood at the gates with CRY buckets and raised £160.20. They are all a fab bunch.
Love too you all.
