In early September at Brighouse High School in West Yorkshire , Clifton Rangers YFC held their 28th Annual Tournament.
The tournament initially commenced following the sad passing of Dominic O’Loughlin from a cardiac arrest. The initial tournaments helped raise money for CRY and the club, however, unfortunately over the years the links with the O’Loughlin family faded.
In more recent years the background to the tournament has refocused on the tremendous work CRY do, highlighting the charity in the tournament programme, and this year, raising money in the charity raffle.
180 teams from all over Yorkshire attended the Tournament. Mixed teams and Girls Teams Football tournaments from U7s to U18s. This year we also included Girls teams from U7s to U14s.
The tournament had a fabulous atmosphere with perfect weather and feedback was excellent.
The charity raffle raised £500 for CRY.
