Every Christmas nearly thirty charities each decorate a Christmas tree in Tapton Masonic Hall in Sheffield. Over the Christmas and New Year period it is estimated that over 4000 visitors see the trees. The tree for CRY was decorated with hearts made by Elaine’s friends from various Dronfield ladies’ groups. On 17th December 2014 a number of Elaine’s “ambassadors” attended afternoon tea and celebrated Ian’s birthday with a special birthday cake at the Hall.
