On July the 15th, the five of us came up from North Devon to walk in the Bridges Walk for CRY in London.
We walked 8 bridges, representing the 8 lives lost each week due to undiagnosed heart diseases. We were doing it in memory of our son Martyn Luckett, who passed away in July 2005 from this terrible disease.
This was a wonderful experience along with 400 other people all there for their own reasons. Our group of five walkers raised £834 between us. Our group consisted of myself (Brenda), Charlotte, Nick, Katie Jewell (Martyn’s cousin) and Andrew Henderson (Charlotte’s boyfriend).
On November 30th we had a presentation of the cheque when Tim Salisbury came and received it.
