CRY office repainted by volunteers from Pfizer pharmaceuticals
10th October 2008
As part of their community engagement initiative, four volunteers from Pfizer pharmaceuticals’ Walton Oaks premises visited the CRY office on Friday 10th October, to give the downstairs area a much needed fresh coat of paint.
Armed with rollers and brushes, and fuelled by tea, soft drinks and biscuits, Gareth Hanson, Steve Fortune, Clare Jones and Denise Stevens made short work of the grubby CRY walls.
The difference is amazing – the whole of the downstairs area is now so much lighter, making it a more pleasant working environment for all CRY staff in the area.
Many CRY staff were away at the CRY International Medical Conference on the day the painting was done, so it was a nice surprise on Monday morning to see what a difference it made.
CRY’s canine contingent were not forgotten – the brilliant white paint also bringing more light into the dog enclosure in the office.
CRY would like to thank Gareth, Steve, Clare and Denise for their efforts, and for doing the job so thoroughly and with minimal disruption to the office.
