Issue 91 of the CRY Update magazine covers all news, events and fundraising from May to August 2023.
During this time period CRY screened over 8,800 people including 4,433 young people at a family screening event, 2,068 at a school screening event, 1,206 at sport screenings, 374 thanks to the Northern Ireland Memorial Fund, 358 thanks to Tesco Bags of Help Centenary Grant and 423 people at CRY’s head office in Leatherhead.
We also highlight some of the major fundraising events that took place within these four months including The Heart of London Bridges Walk. You can read more about these events on page 20.
In ‘Research News’, starting on page 16, there is an article about CRY’s contribution to the ‘Medicine and Me’ conference hosted at the Royal Society of Medicine.
Other features within the Update include news from CRY Chief Executive Dr Steven Cox (page 4) and Our Fundraisers section where we recognise the continued dedication of our supporters and how they have raised money in memory of their loved ones (page 24).
