Debbie Dixon became the 1,097th British winner of the Points of Light Award for her exceptional voluntary service. Since her son Aaron’s death, at age 23, Debbie has committed herself to raising over £210,000 so that Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) can run free screening days for young people aged 14 to 35.
Preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening and research, and supporting affected families.
