Dr Daniel O. Abioye BSc (Hons), MBBS, MRCP, MSc obtained his first degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2009 from St Georges University of London where he also qualified as a medical doctor in 2012. He completed his foundation years in the South Thames Foundation School. He undertook his Core Medical Training within the South London deanery.
He gained his Membership of Royal College of Physicians in 2016 and gained a National Training Number in Cardiology in East of England Deanery in 2017. He completed a Master’s in Cardiology at the University of Brighton in 2022. In 2023, he obtained his Certificate of Completion of Training in Cardiac Devices, Heart Failure and General (Internal) Medicine.
Daniel is currently appointed as a CRY Research Fellow at St Georges University of London where his medical journey began. He conducts inherited cardiac cardiomyopathy clinics and takes part in screening for CRY. He is undertaking research in Sports cardiology and cardiomyopathy under the guidance of Professor Sanjay Sharma.
