Dr Wong qualified from University of Cambridge Medical School in 2004, having completed a prior BSc. Hons. degree in Pharmacology at University College London in 2001.
He completed his general paediatric SHO training in Nottingham and London before securing membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics & Child Health in 2007.
He continued his general paediatric registrar training in the Oxford Deanery, before moving to Bristol Royal Hospital for Children to pursue specialist paediatric cardiology training where he developed an interest in paediatric electrophysiology and inherited cardiac conditions.
He is currently undertaking research into the genetics of sudden unexplained infant death (more commonly known as ‘cot death’) under the supervision of Dr Elijah Behr at St George’s University of London.
