On Sunday 20th July 2014, I hosted a family fun day in memory of my brother Joe, with the help of family and friends. The sun shined throughout the day, with a BBQ, bouncy castles, face painters and lots of fun activities for children of all ages to enjoy. There was also a special guest at the event, Ian Snodin, a football legend who played for Everton Football Club. The amount of funds raised on the day was £900. Overall the day was a happy, successful day which ended with a balloon send off in memory of Joe Parkinson.
