Family and friends of James Murgatroyd have raised an incredible £7,000 in aid of Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) since his death in 2016. The family’s determination to help prevent others going through the same experience has led to the JimJam gig fundrasier, paying tribute to James’ love of music. Matt Truswell and Dale Platts also completed a 100 mile bike race in memory of their friend, raising in excess of £2,000 for the charity.
